Stand up people! It’s time to shed your nicely summered skin and slip into autumn mode. The fall is upon us and there’s no way but forward here, so we walk this road together! Trade your boardies for your scarfs, and your thongs for your knits then skate, peddle, walk or kick your way through the leaves gathered on the city streets all the way to Gothenburg’s dopest independent clothing and music store PANIK.
A dream of owning a record store has probably crossed many of our music loving minds at one point or another. Hell, many of us could just settle for working in a kick ass indie music store to keep the boat afloat. For Johan and G the founders of Panik, an ambitious and aspiring feat has been made! Bringing a wide range of alternative music including the indie, pop, punk, hardcore, hip hop, electronic and experimental genre’s to their shelves with labels like: Jade Tree SubPop Warp Gravity Dischord Three.One.G GSL Lex Anticon amongst a heap more. The store is decked out with healthy vinyl and CD sections, all of it being quality gear. For the more serious shopper you’ll find an awesome second hand slot with plenty of early punk, metal and hard-core on original or early pressings (I can see your mouths watering). Everything is in mint condition. All this along side some of the tastiest clothing you’ll feast your beady eyes on, being the only store in Sweden to carry Threadless (some hot T-shirts in this range people!) and E.C. Star a retro fashion label with designers in the right places! Bringing you 40’s and 50’s skirts, tops and dresses for the ladies, and some stealth 60’s pinstriped suits for the dudes. You can also find some vintage clothing and on the horizon there’s plans for new shoes range.
Panik is by far the freshest new music store in Gothenburg. You need it in your life. Simple as that. Its way easy to find, just off Kungsgatan in town. See you there!

**Note** This is Stereoscent's only "review" of a store. We just had to show our love.
